    “Blue is the color of the sparking sea, Blue is the sky that looks down at me.” It was a fun filled day for the tiny toddlers of Pre-nursery, nursery and prep class of Gurugram public School as they celebrated ‘Blue Color Day’ on friday(13.5.15) with great enthusiasm. Color plays a vitally important role in the world in which we live. The significance of each color is reiterated whereby children dress according to the color on a particular day. Concept of blue color was given to the children through different objects like toys, decorative items and drawing which they enjoyed.
     
     
    based on the theme. Recognition of blue color was done with the help of blue color objects. Children also participated in games and other interesting theme-based activities.They had great fun in making blue wrist bands wrapped with blue ribbons and blue colour pasta. The main attraction of the day is arrival of Doremon in school premises, the blue doraemon played and dance with them. kids loves the arrival of their favourite cartoon who fulfill all their wishes in a moment.

    LIST OF ACHIEVERS IN THE FOLLOWING OLYMPIADS IN 2015-16

    1.- Pratham Gupta, VII A won the First position in the state level in R.C.Gupta Maths Olympiad held AT Our Lady Of Fatima Convent School, Gurgaon. He won the cash prize along with Gold Medal and certificate.

     

    2.- Sudiksha Badhani, VI B won a Laptop of Dell by getting the 7th rank in All India Young Achievers Talent Test held on 24th Jan,2016 at Kamla Intl. School, Gurgan.  

                                                

                  

     

     

     

    Gold medals aren’t really made of gold. They’re made of sweat, determination and a hard-to-find alloy called guts.

     

    The much awaited Annual Junior Sports Day Celebrations were held at Gurugram Public School on 6th February 2016. The fantastic turnout from the parents and the pleasant weather were the perfect boost for the students of pre-primary classes. Ms Pramilla Chhabra, the Editor of Delhi Diary, a fortnightly travel magazine and a prominent personality presided the function as The Chief Guest.  

     

    The function started with a traditional Lighting of Lamp and floral welcome followed by the speech of Junior Wing Headmistress Mrs. Vandana Sharma.

     

    The students of Prep sang the prayer song followed by the Prize Distribution of classes Nursery and Prep. Dumbbells and Drill were performed with great enthusiasm by the Nursery and Prep classes. The skit  “Child Labour”played by the students of class II was an eye-opener and was applauded by the audience. Hula Hoops , songs, Aerobics- Pom Pom and orchestra were performed beautifully. The Chief Guest congratulated the winners and appreciated their efforts. The Principal Mrs. Anthoni Ammal. P gave vote of thanks. The program ended with National Anthem.
